This \u201ccombative\u201d martial art form is said to have developed in the United States of America. Furthermore, this combat system is based on psychology, physiology, and physical movement. In addition, SCARS was inducted within the \u201cDepartment of Navy\u201d in the year 1988.<\/p>\n

History\/origin of SCARS: <\/strong><\/p>\n SCARS was said to have been created by Jerry L Peterson after having served the \u201cUS Army 173rd<\/sup> Airborne Brigade\u201d during the Vietnam War. Apparently, this combat system was developed using elements belonging to psychology, physiology, and physical movement. In addition, this combat system was made public in 1987, and then gradually began being taught via private seminars, online training, and DVD\u2019s. It is also taught in various military institutions, law enforcement agencies, and security units such as the Arizona State Police.<\/p>\n b. Weapon used in the SCARS: <\/strong><\/p>\n The \u201chands and feet\u201d of the fighter is mainly used as a weapon in this unique martial art form.<\/p>\n c.
