Commonly also referred to as \u201cninja\u201d is an East Asian martial art form known as Ninjutsu. This \u201cunconventional\u201d combat form is said to have originated from Japan, and is frequently used in military tactics such as guerrilla warfare and also in espionage activities. In addition, ninjutsu or ninja is not a centralized martial art form like say judo or karate, and hence there is no single creator of this style of combat. Furthermore, in a few martial art schools in Japan \u201cninjutsu\u201d used to be taught separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
History\/origin of the Ninjutsu:<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n
According to the cultural history of Japan, the ninjutsu was basically created to be used in military tactics such as spying. In fact, this martial art form is said to have been first used in a military campaign during the \u201cGenpei War\u201d. It was during this war that Minamoto no Yoshitsune, the commander of the Minamoto clan selected a \u201cshinobi or ninja\u201d to do battle instead of just normal foot soldiers. Furthermore, the shinobi\/ninjas were also supposed to have been used frequently as assassins, scouts, and spies, and were hired mainly by landlords known as \u201cdaimyos\u201d. In addition, the ninjas known for their great \u201cdeception\u201d skills basically used their overall technique to gather information and also evade threats. There also reached a stage when this martial art form was even used in espionage activities, and those ninjas who specialized in this were referred to as \u201cshinobi no mono\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They include the kusarigama, Kyoketsu Shoge, Bo, and Kusari Fundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They include the kakute, shobo, shuriken, kubotan, tekko, tessen, and jitte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They include the hanbo, bo jo, Tambo, yari, nagamaki, and naginata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They include the katana, wakizashi, ninjato, tanto, kaiken, bokken, and shinai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They include the kaginawa or grappling hook, hojojutsu, shinobi shozoku, and Ono.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of technique, the ninjutsu involves the use of \u201cfour\u201d major types and they are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hitsuke: <\/strong>Basically a technique that a ninja uses to \u201cdistract\u201d by starting a fire.<\/li>
Tanuki-gakure: <\/strong>Basically a technique that a ninja uses to \u201ccamouflage\u201d by climbing a tree.<\/li>
Ukigusa-gakure: <\/strong>Basically a technique that a ninja uses to \u201chide\u201d underwater movements by throwing duckweed into the water.<\/li>
Uzura-gakure: <\/strong>Basically a technique that a ninja uses to \u201cdeceive\u201d by rolling into a ball and appearing like a stone.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
